What a card of the day actually is

The daily pull is the smallest possible tarot practice and the one most readers keep up. A single card is too little information to describe a day, which is exactly why it works: it gives you one idea to carry around rather than a forecast to check. How to read yours

01Pull before the day starts, not after something has already gone wrong. A card drawn to explain a bad morning will only agree with you.
02Read the card's general meaning first, then narrow it to love. The archetype is the same everywhere; the situation is what changes.
03Do not redraw. The second card is always kinder and always worth less. One a day, no take-backs.
04Check back in the evening. The practice is the noticing, not the drawing — that is where a daily card stops being decoration.

Why the streak exists

Seven consecutive days completes a cycle and pays out three credits. It is not a gimmick attached to the tarot — a daily pull only tells you anything once you have enough of them to see a pattern, and one week is roughly where that starts. Miss a day and the count resets, because a streak you can pause is not a habit.

Can I pull more than one card a day?

Not on the daily card — it resets at midnight UTC and gives you one. If you want more than one card, ask a full question instead: that is a different tool with a spread behind it, and it will read the cards against something specific rather than against the day.

What if I get a card I do not like?

The Tower and the Three of Swords are in the deck because those days exist. A difficult card in the morning is usually more useful than a pleasant one — it tells you where the friction is likely to be while you can still do something about it.

Is the card actually random?

Yes. It is drawn from the full 78 with reversals, using the same draw as every other reading on the site, and it is stored so the same card is there if you reload. Nothing is curated to be encouraging.

Do I need an account?

For the daily card, yes — it has to remember what you pulled and how many days you have kept going, and that needs somewhere to keep it. The account is free. A reading, by contrast, you can get without signing up at all.
