Cups are the suit of feeling. They cover love, intimacy, intuition and everything that happens in the heart rather than the calendar — attraction, grief, forgiveness, longing. In a love reading, cups tell you what someone feels; the other three suits tell you what they think, do or build.
Cups are water: the element that takes the shape of whatever holds it. That is the suit in one image.
